The Cheltenham Town FC Player Pathway Programme is an elite football development programme that replicates a professional football club scholarship environment, within a college setting. Students study the BTEC Level 3 Extended Diploma in Sport course alongside their football provision, which is equivalent to three A-levels.
The programme is designed to: 1. Identify, develop and recruit talented footballers for Cheltenham Town FC. 2. Provide an alternative playing pathway for players into semi professional football/scholarships in the USA. 3. Support students pathway into the sports industry into careers such as coaching, personal training, sports therapy and sports development etc 4. Provide a pathway into higher education at University We are hosting an open session to allow players to find out more about the programme and the training we provide during their time with us.
